Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) apply to all personal stylist services provided by Samira Fernandes (StyledBySami) (the “Services”). By booking a session with Samira, you agree to be bound by these Terms as a client of Samira (a “Client”).
Packages Offered
Samira offers a ‘Reconnect with your personal style’ package (the “Reconnect Package”) and a ‘Wardrobe Edit’ package (the “Wardrobe Edit Package”). Further details relating to these packages can be found under the Services page of the StyledBySami website (the “Website”) and such details will be deemed to be incorporated into these Terms.
Reconnect Package
The Reconnect Package will be held via a video call.
Wardrobe Edit Package
In order to ensure a tailored service, the Wardrobe Edit package is only available to Clients who have completed the Reconnect Package.
The Wardrobe Edit Package may either be held via a video call or in person at the Client’s home in London, to which Samira will travel to. In the event you would like the session to be conducted at your home, please inform Samira so that she can check whether your home is within a reasonable distance from hers. In the event the Client and Samira agree that the Wardrobe Edit Package will be conducted at the Client’s home, Samira’s travel costs will be added to the Client’s invoice when the final balance is due.
The price for the Wardrobe Edit Package is £495 based on a standard double wardrobe. In the event that you have a larger wardrobe space, please let Samira know, as she will assess and inform you of the final pricing of the Wardrobe Edit Package based on the size of your wardrobe and any additional work that will be required, which will be based on her hourly rates. Failure to inform Samira that your wardrobe space is larger than a standard double size may result in the session and the Services relationship being terminated with immediate effect and your non-refundable deposit being lost.
Pricing and Payment
The Client and Samira will agree to proceed with a package upon the Client’s completion of an Intake Form (such completion shall be taken to mean that the Client accepts these Terms), following having discussed which Service(s) the Client wants to purchase, as well as the dates and times during which the Service(s) will be conducted. In the event that you book more than one package, the total amount you are required to pay (including the deposit) will be aggregated.
Once Samira has received the Intake Form, the Client will be required to pay a non-refundable deposit equivalent to 50% of the price of relevant package(s) in order to secure the Service(s). Deposits remain valid for three (3) months, after which point, they are deemed void and the prospective Client would need to pay the Deposit again in order to be able to secure the relevant Service(s).
The remainder of the package(s) price (the “Balance”) is due and payable seven (7) calendar days prior to your session. To the extent you have one or more agreed Services, the full Balance for all sessions will be due and payable seven (7) calendar days prior to your first session. If you are late for payment, you will be charged a late fee of 5% per day on the basis of your Balance until the day you pay the Balance in full and no sessions will be conducted whilst the Balance is outstanding.
The Client’s Responsibilities
The Client must:
a) complete the pre-session questionnaire and other deliverables within the timeframes communicated by Samira via e-mail prior to the agreed session(s);
b) be on time for the session(s);
c) be responsive and open to feedback and personal style recommendations;
d) take full responsibility for realising their personal style goals; and
e) ensure a clean and safe environment without distractions in the case of the Wardrobe Edit Package.
Booking, Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy
Clients are required to provide Samira with a minimum of seven (7) days’ written notice (via e-mail) prior to their first session if they need to cancel or reschedule their session. This enables Samira to fill the session slot with another Client.
Clients may reschedule once within this timeframe, free of charge. If you need to rearrange for a second time, a non-refundable fee of £100 will be added to your remaining balance and a new date and time must be agreed on the same day. If you request to reschedule for a third time, this will result in the cancellation of your sessions and the termination of the Services relationship and your non-refundable deposits will be lost. To the extent you require Samira’s Services after this, you will need to pay a new deposit at the time of the new booking and these Terms will be deemed to renew.
Term and Termination
The term of the Client’s relationship with Samira in relation to the Services shall commence on the date the Client pays the applicable Deposit until the later of the Client’s final session or the date upon which Samira provides any follow-up material and/or email(s) in relation to the Services (the “Term), provided that, the following provisions as set out in these Terms shall survive termination: Intellectual Property, Limitation of Liability, Dispute Resolution, Severability and Amendments.
Each of the Client and Samira may terminate the Services relationship upon three calendar days’ prior written notice (e-mail being sufficient). In the event the Client terminates the Services prior to the end of the Term, any outstanding Balance will remain payable and all deposits already paid will be non-refundable. In the event Samira terminates the Services early, Samira will provide appropriate refunds (as determined in her sole discretion) for any sessions paid for, but not yet conducted.
Samira may terminate the Services relationship with immediate effect with written notice (e-mail being sufficient) in the event that (i) the Client is not transparent about the actual size of their wardrobe space in the context of the Wardrobe Edit Package; (ii) the Client reschedules more than two times; or (iii) the Client repeatedly breaches their obligations as set out under “Client Responsibilities”. In the event of such immediate termination, any outstanding Balance will remain payable and all deposits already paid will be non-refundable.
Intellectual Property
All personalised guides and materials provided during or after sessions are for your personal use only. These materials may not be shared, duplicated or distributed for commercial purposes without Samira’s prior written consent.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, in no event will Samira be liable to any person for an indirect, incidental or consequential loss or damages incurred as a result of acting on personal stylist advice or services.
In the case of in-person sessions, reasonable care will be taken, but Samira shall not be liable for any accidental damage to clothing or property.
All style recommendations are made in good faith based on the information you provide.
Results may vary depending on individual implementation, wardrobe availability, and personal preferences. Samira does not guarantee any specific outcomes regarding confidence, image or external perceptions.
Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales. Samira and the Client agree that any disputes arising out of these Terms or the Services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held to be illegal or invalid for any reason, the illegality or invalidity shall not affect the remaining provisions hereof, but such provision shall be fully severable and these Terms shall be construed and enforced as if the illegal or invalid provision had never been included herein.
Amendments
These Terms are subject to change at any time, effective upon posting of an updated version of the Terms to the Website. When this occurs, the “Last Updated” date at the bottom of this page will be updated accordingly.
